Issue date: December 09, 1998
Local author Sheralee Hill Iglehart -- who has taught schoolchildren in Atherton, Menlo Park, Portola Valley, and even a few, she says, in Woodside -- will introduce local children to her literary side Saturday, December 12, when she reads her children's book, "Three Cheers for Kangarooslow."
The 11 a.m. reading at Borders Books in Palo Alto will feature a coloring contest and guest appearance by Portola Valley first-grader Shelby Rachleff, who will turn pages and assist with the reading. A book signing will follow.
Mrs. Iglehart will also be appearing later that day at the Museum of American Heritage's Teddy Bear Tea in Palo Alto, where she will read a new work, "Kangarooslow at Teddy Bears' Tea Party." Call 321-1004 for more information.
